Is Honda Fit any good ? - It is coming to Canada and I am thinking of buying it. I have 1993 Civic and it is an excellent car, but coming to the end of useful life. Regards, Ranko

Honda Fit, noisy - Hi. Just test drove the Fit. Really liked it, very peppy for small engine, but really noisy. Anybody know of good way to inulate from engine noise, without engine.

You missed the part about how he has been driving a '94 Mazda Protege.
Compared to that the Fit will seem like a luxury car.

Hi,
I just tried once when my neighbor got one. I think they it
is roomier and more standard features than the others.
If they make AWD version, I'd get one. My family drives only AWD
vehicles.

Fit replaced a '90 Integra, with <100k. While not a Protégé, still an old
car.
I envisioned the original poster driving several hours at a time at highway
(+70MPH) speeds.

Nope, I drive about 20 minutes at a time at
highway speeds of about 65 mph. On rare
occasions I drive into Baltimore - about an hour
and 15 minutes away. The rest of the time I
drive into Charles Town, WV - about 20 minutes
west or Frederick, MD - about 20 minutes east.
The town I live in has three stop lights and two
traffic circles and that is it.
